Making diagram from log-like data with date as x and time as y

Hello. I have an idea about making a graph from notes about the singing of bird, in the dawn.
I make it a little like a relational database (I think). The three column headers are date, time, level (1-3).

    First row is 2020-04-26, 02:45, 1
    2:nd row is 2020-04-26, 02:54, 1
    3:rd row is 2020-04-26, 03:20, 1
    4:th row is 2020-04-27, 03:13, 1
    5:th ... 2020-04-28, 02:57, 2
    6:th ... 2020-04-30, 02:51, 1
    7:th ... 2020-05-01, 2:55, 1
    8:th ... 2020-05-01, 03:31, 3
    9:th ... 2020-05-02, 02:52, 1

and so on, some have level 3 also.
From the example here I was thinking that three lines (from 26:th of April) meet at a single point at 27:th, then goes to the the 'sibling'-point at 30:th of April, then 1:st of may, then 2:nd of may.

One line goes for all the level-1-entries, but can be split into several lines and then joined.
Another line goes through all level-2 entries
    Same for level 3-entries

I'm having trouble visualizing what you want your chart to look like.

Excel does not have a built in way to "split" a line in a line or scatter chart. I would expect to A) determine the max number of "splits" I would need, then B) add helper columns for that number of data series. Populate the helper columns in a way that gets the look I want. The main "skill set" I would use would be the ideas talked about in this essay: https://peltiertech.com/mind-the-gap...g-empty-cells/

    Does any of that help?

Thank you. Yes now I get a picture of it more. Btw in OpenOffice there is a bubble diagram. It worked also.

If it matters, Excel has a built in bubble chart type, as well. https://support.office.com/en-us/art...1-c766f3e330d9
