Scatter to Decimal with Combined Column Schart

Hi,

I have a combined column & scatter chart. The only problem is, I can't get the scatter dots to go into the decimal point positition to align with the columns:

I've tried formatting the X axis - for some reason I have to select Date for these graphs to combine, even if the values are numbers. If I choose Automatically Select then the 2 graphs are separated completely. I've set the Category to Number and to 2 decimal places.

Please attach a sample workbook (not a picture or pasted copy). Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and then scroll down to Manage Attachments to open the upload window.

Column charts are normally equally spaced on the horizontal axis. If you use date axis then you can alter the spacing but only down to the nearest day.
In order to get the xy series to align you need to determine what the x position of each column is.
