    Graphing odd rows

    Hello every body
Could you help me in my question ,please?
    I want to make chart for my data in columns C(Material) & D (Supplier) & F (Temperature& quantity) .
I want the chart to include only odd rows for the three columns.
Please I need a quick way to do it like named ranges.

    hi leprince2007,
What about using a helper column with your raw data? In cell G3 try: =IF(ISODD(ROW(F3)),1,0) (use your own true/false returns)
This will number your data rowns with 1-0-1-0...etc. in your chart select only rows with 1 (odd).

    Re: Graphing odd rows

I cannot use helper column because -in my original data- I have a lot of columns.
I need a quick way like named ranges not select every cell manually.

Thank you Mr.Andy Pope but pivot table isn`t recommended here because it sums data.I need temperatures as it is.

The I think you are going to have to generate a set of charting data.
Plotting merged cells and alternate rows is just asking for problems.

    Re: Graphing odd rows

I'm saying you need to create a set of data to chart rather than try and chart every other row.

Data set is the information you want to chart

I used INDEX to get the information to chart

    you don`t understand me.
I cannot use helper columns because my data is big and increasing. It contains now 24 columns of temperatures and it increases 4 columns every day .

    Re: Graphing odd rows

Could you put the helper columns/table on a separate sheet?
It might help us understand how to help if we could see a small sample of the actual data i.e. data with 24 columns of temperatures.
