How to Create idiograms in excel

Hi Experts,

Is it possible to create idiograms in excel. Or if any one has any suggestion it will be of great help. I have excel 2012 version.

Its similar to histogram but has a gap between two set of data.

Can you share an example? My internet search for idiogram suggests that it is a way of visualizing chromosomes and karyotypes, and the examples I see look like a special "stacked column" chart. Is that what you are trying to do?
