    Dynamic Chart

    Hi all,

    In the attached xls i have created a chart based on a table. We can see that in foto "M" there are no value entries, and in foto "1" values were added. Into the foto 2, with rows only partially completed values, chart is going on 0 line from where values end. I need the red line to stop where values end, not to go on zero line up to the end. I also hope that the whole chart will be better visible, as the dimensions would increase.Can anyone please help me with this issue?
    Thank you very much!

    Best regards,

    xls is in Protected View, without password.

    Re: Dynamic Chart

    for charts the data source needs to be #N/A rather than "" if you do not want the points plotted. You need to alter you IF formula to use NA() instead of ""

    Your layout of data is not best suited to charts, merged cells and non contiguous ranges.

    Re: Dynamic Chart

    Hi, from formula bar:
    " =SERIES("Ground";('002'!$E$72:$E$107;'002'!$R$73:$R$107);('002'!$K$72:$K$107;'002'!$X$73:$X$107);1) "
    " =SERIES("Bohrung";('002'!$E$72:$E$107;'002'!$R$73:$R$107);('002'!$I$72:$I$107;'002'!$V$73:$V$107);2) "
    and in cells i have:
    " =IF(G73="";"";(C73-C72)*SIN(ATAN(G73/100%))+I72) " - for serie 2
    " =IF(OR(I73="";M73="");"";(I73+M73)) " - for serie 1
    " =IF(I73="";"";E72+SQRT((C73-C72)^2-(I73-I72)^2)) " - for horizontal axis(Lange)
    even if i have merged cells and non-contiguous ranges, i made formulas to take only firs column in consideration, and all chart is working very well.

    Now, i wil try to figure out how i can alterate some formulas to receive #N/A error(i don't have vlookup function used for chart, only this return #N/A error), wich i hope(folowing your tipps) to resolve my needs.

    Thanks for help, i am working on it!
