    Changing Slicer And Timeline Doesn't Change The Focus On The Table And Chart

    When I choose 2019 either on the timeline (Sheet named NEW 2) or the slicer both area belong to 2019 and 2020 exist on the Pivot Table and Pivot Chart.

    When I choose 2019 It should shows me only the area of 2019. (The months of the year 2019)

    How can I fix it?

    First try refreshing the pivot table, as I assume you added a record to the table but did you refresh the pivot table.

    In order to get the 2019 entry separate from 2020 you will need to add year to the table.
    and filter out the groupings at period ends

    No, That's not the case.

    When I choose the year 2019 on the slicer or timeline;

    It still shows the months of the year 2020. (Although It stops showing the values belong to the year 2020)

    I don't want it to show the months of the year 2020 when I choose the year 2019.

    How can I do this?

    In the file I posted if I use the time slicer to select the months in 2019 I get a chart with all months and a single value of 1 for May 2019. No 2020 data is shown
