    Pivot Table - HELP!

    Hi,

So I have 6 tables with data.

Table 1 Is just a list of names and personal identifiers.
Table 2 - 5 are tables of those people with a metric in each table.

On sheet4 I've created a pivot table so that I can collate the data in all tables and look at month to date stats etc. But No mater what relationships I make or where I place the values I just cannot get the data to show correctly.
Can someone look at the attached and explain where I'm going wrong?

You need to create a relationship between each table of data and the Team table, based on NetworkID.

    Re: Pivot Table - HELP!

Thanks for that! I did try and it kept saying something about duplicates and the one time I got it to work it then didn't show the actual values correctly. I noticed on the sheet you provided the IC usage column seems to show the values correctly - as in if I were to go to that specific date and look at IC usage for an agent it shows what the pivot shows. But if I went to that date and looked at IB Talk it shows a figure of 4180 instead of the actual value in the cell for that agent.

It's like I can get one thing working but not another.

If you are filtering by date you need to add each date field to the Page area and set the date.

Oh Really? I'm sure I've been able to filter multiple tables of data by date using just one slider before. Damn it I was hoping to avoid the date filters repeating

    Re: Pivot Table - HELP!

You could build a single summary table.

Start with a Blank Query and use
    =Excel.CurrentWorkbook()

to include the tables. Use text filter to exclude tables from query, including the new table you build with this action.

You can then create the relationship between Team table and summary data table.

    Re: Pivot Table - HELP!

Using this method I'd have duplicate values in the summary table and have to populate this manually.

I might have to just go back to having them all one one table and just manually making another table and filling that out with each metric score haha.

I'm starting to hate Excel. People keep telling me it makes data simple and things easier but the solutions to do that are complicated as hell.

    Not sure I understand.
The table is automatically populated by doing a refresh.

    What exactly is duplicating?
