    pivot chart with clustered stacked-columns

I am trying to make a pivot clustered stacked column pivot chart out of pivot table data. Basically what I have is this:

a list of single transactions, each with its company name, item type, and transaction amount. The pivot table I made has a different company on each row, which can expand into the type of item. The data values are transaction sum and transaction count.

The pivot table basically looks like this:
    Row Labels..........transaction sum...........transaction count
    - Company 1...........100 ..........................13
    product 1................50.............................8
    product 2..................5.............................3
    product 3................45.............................2
    - Company 2...........375...........................20
    product 1...............250.............................8
    product 2................50.............................5
    product 3................75.............................7
    - Company 3
    ...and so on.

I am trying to make this pivot table into a pivot chart that looks something like this:
    example.jpg

I have scoured tutorials and tried multiple things but have come to no avail. PLease someone help me out! I have attached an example xls if that would help

    Thanks in advance!

Re: pivot chart with clustered stacked-columns

In order to do cluster/stacked column chart you need to stagger the data layout. Using a pivot table restricts that ability.

The best you can do is to alter the gap width of the series on the primary axis so they are narrower than those behind on the secondary axis.

I noticed this has never been solved and is seven years old. Does Microsoft 365 have a solution to something like this?
