Experts:
I need some assistance with modifying/tweaking a stacked bar chart by adding, e.g., another data series or a 2nd y-axis to the chart.
Please see attached XLS for details... below summarizes the information.
I'd appreciate any help w/ updating the stacked bar chart.
Thank you,
EEH
*******Additional information **************
Tab "Version 1":
I need some assistance with modifying the stacked bar chart. Here's what I currently have in "Version 1".
- I have 8 "State" values (CA, DE, FL, ..., ..., TX)... see row #1.
- Each state value has data for both "6-years" and "1-year"... see row #2.
- Finally, I then have percentage values for both "No" and "Yes"
Here's what I need to achieve:
- I want to apply the blue/orange color coding across the stacked bars
- That is for the 6-Year values, I'd like to apply a light blue for 'yes' values AND dark blue for 'no' values.
- Similarly, for the 1-Year values, I'd like to apply a light orange for 'yes' values AND dark orange for 'no' values.
Here's the problem:
- At this time, I can only chose 2 colors (for yes/no) but I cannot distinguish between the 6-year and 1-year values (via color-coding).
Next steps:
- I copied tab "Version 1" and created a 2nd tab "Version 2".
- Please switch to tab "Version 2" to continue...
Tab "Version 2":
- Based on the information listed on tab "Version 1", I now have split up the two data ranges.
- My thought was that I merely add additional "Data Series" to the chart.
Here's the problem though... adding the following data series only creates a 3rd and 4th stack on the existing bars.
My question: How can I combine all of the data in A3:I5 AND K3:S3 into one and the same stacked bar chart while allowing me to use different colors (2 blue shades tones and 2 orange shaded tones) for the 6-year and 1-year range?
