How to delete dropdownlist boxes after removing the table format

    Hi,

I made a table and later on i deleted the table format but kept the data. The problem is that the dropdown lists for sorting is still displayed in the top cells in each column. I would like these to be removed. I tried deleting, copying and pasting and have also selected the delete everything in the data validation tab. Nothing seems to work. How can i solve this problem?

    Any input is much appreciated!

(unfortunately i can't post the sheet because it contains privacy sensitive data)

Nor should you, but you could make a copy, get rid of most of the data leaving just enough to show the issue, and desensitise what's left, couldn't you?

In the meantime, is this a table? If so, go to the Table Design ribbon and deselect the Filter Button option.
