[SOLVED] Pivot Table Automatically Grouping Dates by Year, Quarter, Month etc

Hi all,

I have daily weather data from about a dozen weather stations and am trying to create a pivot table with weather station name as rows and daily max. temperature as columns (one column per day). When I create the pivot table Excel "helpfully" puts in into years and quarters, which I can undo by pressing Ctrl+Z. However that leaves it in Month format and it looks like it just gives me the total sum for all Jan, Feb etc. I just want individual days (this is the format the original data is in) but can't figure out how to get Excel to stop "helping" me by deciding I want my data in some other format!
