Sun chart with months and weeks in correct order

    Hi
Is it possible to make this sun chart "behave"?
I would like the months to come in the correct order and weeks too. I have attached the file I'm working on and inserted an image of what I want it to look like.
Since I'm not even sure it is possible, let's just find out - before I put any more time into it.
If anyone knows how to solve it - it would be absolutely fantastic.
    Thanks

Sorry, don't know what you want to show. The attached file looks exactly like the one I attached. Or did I misunderstand?

I see both the Excel file you attached and the image. But the file looks like the file I attached, the order of the months and weeks are still incorrect. I want it to look like the circle on the right. So the "blue, orange, grey" chart you can see it is all wrong order of the months. If you look at the more colourful chart, you see months and weeks are in the correct order.

I just want to know if it is possible to get the chart on the right?

    Is it clear now?

What was it you tried to show in your Excel file? Because I don't see anything that is different to my file. And same with the image - it looks like my excel file. Unless I'm missing something?

    Thanks

I though that you are asking about how to creat a sunburst chart like the image. So I did it.

The order of month and week, follow exactly to the order in data source (column A-C)
If if was not in expected order, try to correct the source.

Or you 'd like to adjust the color exactly like the sample image?

No, the colours are not important. I just want the months & weeks to appear in correct order and to start where the months/weeks start in the example image. is it possible you think?

Re: Sun chart with months and weeks in correct order

Are you sure the data source in A:C is in correct order?
    T1 then SEP then 36
    ...
    T2 then JAN then 1
    ...

The chart is following it exactly.

The chart is following it exactly.
Yes, this is correct. Sept 36, Jan 1, etc.

But if you look, "September - April - March - February - January - August...etc". It is not the correct order of months. How to get it in the natural order of months?

Re: Sun chart with months and weeks in correct order

Hi, unfortuneatly, sunburst is sorted base on volumn of month, follow clockwide direction start which month is largest.
In sample, August and december has 6 weeks, while the others have 4.

Anyway, i will come back to play with it. I intend to give increasing indexes ( number 1 in column D) to sort the months in espected order.

    Hi,

** Same as the doughnut type chart shown in the picture, except the colours

    Chart_01.png

The angle of first slice must be changed to start from the month selected.
** Change Angle of First Slice for starting month selected
a - Double click Series Week (or right click Series Week)
    b - Format Data Series
    c - Series Option
d - Change value in the textbox - Angle of First Slice
e - the doughnut chart will rotate accordingly.

In this file, when the month is selected in cell E1, angle of first slice change automatically with VBA.

    See file attached..

Re: Sun chart with months and weeks in correct order

    Hi,
I understood your question as rotating the full Chart. But, here, all months belong to the same year.
The document in my previous post was prepared accordingly.

If you want the other months to increase from the selected year and month, you will not need to rotate the chart.
    In this case,
** Write Start YEAR in cell B1 and Select Start Month in List Drop Drown
** Chart will start from First WEEK of the Month and Year selected.

Nota : Weeks start Monday and end Sunday
