I have a large worksheet detailing income for different revenue types I have another which is the budgets for those revenue types. I've tried linking both via 'relationships' using 'Revenue Type' as the link as these match. However when building the pivot table and insert revenue type and amount from Large data set then insert 'budget' from other worksheet it just populates the column with the total budget not the individual revenue types listed. I cannot seem to get it to detail the budget against amount of income. I'm sure I'm just doing something really simple incorrectly but it's driving me mad. Ideally I want ONE pivot table detailing all the income per revenue type (Large data sheet) with budget in next column, I can then add % against target etc.
I've also tried using Power Pivot but have the same problem. Should be easy, surely???
