Max Value Overall and Subtotals

I am trying to find a way to display the Max value from a pivot table. I need to show the max for any date listed and also show the max for the monthly subtotal. In the attached sheet you can see in the highlighted cells what I am trying to do but basically I need to display the max total from all the months shown, the date that happened, the max total per month and the month that had that max. Thanks for any help.

I took a look at your file and struggling to follow what you are trying to do. Also, in the file posted there is no pivot table. Is this the correct file?

I am guessing that the data includes dates and totals as modeled in columns A:B of the attached file.
To get the information for which you are looking could be displayed in two pivot tables also modeled in the attached file.
The first pivot table would have Date in the Rows area and Total (Sum of) in the Values area. The Date field is value filtered to display the top 1.
The second pivot table would have Months (automatically grouped) in the Rows area and Total (Sum of) in the Values area. The Months field is value filtered to display the top 1.
