YTD based on Selection in Pivot Table

    Hi Experts
I have an excel file in which I have created a pivot table to show me the total revenue by month

I now need to calculate the YTD, but based on the selection of the column Application

So if I select the month of February and Application as OF, I can see the total revenue for the month is $352.35, what I need is a YTD based on the Application selected

The YTD should also only show $352.35 because there were no Application for OF in the month of Jan

Hope I have been able to explain. I have attached the Excel file I am working with

    Regards
    Rahul

Re: YTD based on Selection in Pivot Table

    Try the following:
    1. Drag Month to the Rows area
    2. Drag Revenue into the Values area (again)
    3. Set the field settings for the second instance of Revenue so that under Show Value as, Running Total in... is selected and the field base Month should be chosen.
You can see this is working by clearing the filters in both slicers. When the Month slicer is set to February and the Application slicer is set to OF both columns of Revenue will display the same value.
