Slicer sorting

Hello,

I have been trying to make multiple columns for a slicer project, I have a bunch of dimensions that will change depending on the type of item I am filtering. I do not want to have the items in the same pivot table as I dont want 40+ lines for every line of a product as it would make it to large, so my thought process was to make a 2nd pivot table, and make 1 slicer filter both tables. I have done everything google says and its still not working. Can anyone see what im doing wrong, or what process I need to do?

yes I will be the one maintaining it and updating it, hopefully once I get this laid out it will be more of a maintenance so just adding data down not out

Saying that this works perfect, I have 2 questions if I click on another slicer and choose an option but I didnt filter the category to just bolt

but bolt is the only one available can I get that 2nd table to filter based on available options? Is that a power query thing or is that just not possible?

attached picture shows I have a material where only rivet is an available option but I dont have rivets in my dimensions table yet so it should be blank.

also rivet is my only option but its saying it could be 4 items per my slicer which doesnt make sense.
