Bar chart with 2nd bar being relative to 1st bar

As in the title, I want the 2nd series to be relative to the first 1st.

For example, for the first data set let's say is "rate of occurrence". The second set is a percent of of whether the occurrence lead to meaningful change. If something happened 80% of the time, but the event lead to change 50% of the time, the second bar chart would sit half-way (40%). Someone had share an excel file on a tutorial blogpost a few years back and I was able to create the graph in question (see attached) so it is possible, just can't remember how to replicate it again.

    Any help would be appreciated,

    Thanks

    I'm not following your description.

As a guess, it looks like you need to calculate both the "survived browsing" and the "not survived browsing" values, which, I'm guessing, should add up to the "rate of browsing" number. So, using your 80% total rate of browsing 50% survived browsing example:

    1) Calculate "not survived browsing", which looks like it should be total rate of browsing - survived browsing =0.8-0.8*0.5
    2) Calculate "survived browsing", which looks like it should be total rate of browsing * rate of survival =0.8*0.5
    3) Use the "not survived browsing" and "survived browsing" columns to build your stacked column chart.

    Did I guess right?
