Pivot Table - Connecting Slicers

Hello all,

Under 1 excel file I have 2 tables with different data. However, both has same 2 columns: Location and Status

I have created 2 pivot tables from these tables and trying to use one slicer (Location) for both the tables.

I tried to create relationships but its not working.

Hi there,

Please refer to the attached file.

I have created a 'master' table with all locations; 'tbl_Locations'.
Your 2 tables each have a 'Location' field.
We then create a 'Data module' (see screen-shots in file), linking the 'Location' fields from both tables to the 'Master Location' table.

You then can create the 2 pivot tables.
Set-up the Slicer from the 'tbl_Locations' > Location field.
Link both pivot tables to the Slicer.
