Let's say I have a pivot table ranging from A1 to J100. Can I have a normal list of data next to that table and then add a data filter to column K for example, filter that, but prevent any of the rows in the pivot table from dissappearing too?

In short no. There's no concept of selective hiding of rows or columns across different columns/rows.
