Pivot Table - can't get rows with no data to be displayed

I've done this before,... because I have an old pivot table/chart that shows rows with no data.
I've even tried to copy+paste new data in, and adjust the pivot table data source - but as soon as i do that, I cannot get "rows with no data" to be displayed.

I'm going into the Pivot Table Fields, and the Row field, Field Setting - Layout and Print - "show items with no data"... but doesn't seem to make a difference.

Help would be greatly appreciated! 🙏🙏🙏

That's not how that works, I'm afraid. It will show items that don't exist in one field for another field, but the items must be in the dataset somewhere (or have been at some stage). What you can do, since by default the pivot remembers items that have been there previously, is to add the numbers 1 to 31 to rows below your real data, include them in the pivot table source, then delete those new rows and refresh the pivot.

    THANKYOU!
I like that quirk, delete the dummy data and the row names stay there, perfect. Thankyou
