1 Row to a chart

Hi Guys,
I have 1 column that has dates, each date can be several times,
I would like to create a table and a graph.
the graph will show on the (x) date/month and on (y) how many times it appears.

It would seem that a pivot table and pivot chart would do what you want.
In the pivot table Year, Month and Date are placed in the Rows area and Date (Count of) is also placed in the Values area.

Thank you very much, how did you change the pivot "quarters" to "months"

I did the following.
1. Pull date into the Rows area
2. Unselect Years and Quarters
3. Use the mouse to right click in the date column of the pivot table and select Group
4. Unselect Quarter and select Month (Days and Years were already selected)
5. Select OK
