Displaying a timeline on the X Axis

Hi

Appreciate any insight to the following:

Please refer to my attached file which has a text box explaining what I would like to visualise on the pivot chart.

Basically what I want to display is upcoming construction packages that are commencing on a project (Required On Site date (ROS date)) By changing the timeline or by selecting the 'Top 10 upcoming packages", the visual will return the packages that are soon to commence.

Hope that makes sense.

(Just think I am getting my pivot fields wrong. i.e. not too sure if it should be in Filters, Columns, Rows or Values. I have correctly formatted the register and returns date values).
