Pivot l to count numbers of sales from Today's Sale MINUS 1 Year back

Good day everyone.

Need help with Pivot. I have an Excel table with sales data
Status (Sold/Unsold)
Salesman (Name)
Selling Date (Date)

How can I make a Pivot table to count how many sales did each person from the recent sale date of each person within a year time? The challenging part I need to implement is for Excel to count numbers of sales from Today's Sale MINUS 1 Year back from the last occurred sale from that Person. Meaning is if Mike sold something today 5/09/2021, the system needs to count how many sales he did from Today till 5/09/2020. And Tim’s last sale was 1/09/2021 the system will count sales from 1/09/2021 till 1/09/2020.

Your help would be much appreciated.

It may be easier for someone to help if we could see a sample of the sales data table.
Instructions for uploading Excel files is given in the "HOW TO ATTACH YOUR SAMPLE WORKBOOK" banner at the top of the page.
Note that after reading post #1 I feel that getting the results you want is more likely using formulas than a pivot table.
