Chart not showing the values equal to 1

    Good afternoon,

I have two organisations, Ahmedabad and Baroda. I want to compare both organisations in terms of medicines and the no of patients on them. Some medicines are common in both lists. I formatted the x-axis and used a log scale so that the bars look appropriate. The chart doesn't show a bar for the value 1 in the no of patients column. Another problem is the Pivot table has Ahmedabad first and Baroda second but in the chart, it's the other way round. It would be amazing if we could compare the common items from both the organisations as well in the same chart.

    I really appreciate your help.

    Kind Regards,
    Jignesh

theory : from mathematical point of view, log 0 = - infinite, so impossible.

I can't help you with that pivotchart.
But if you allow me to copy the data of your pivottable to a normal table and create with those data a combination chart, then it's possible.
That can manual be done or with a macro.
The best choice for the minimum of the x-axis is a value between 0.5 and 0.9, otherwise that parts seem to great, I think.

2nd question, the sorting in the pivottable, when you're in column A of your pivottable, click right and choice "sort".
Now you have different options of sorting the whole table.

    * For example, you can choice to sort the organisations in ascending of descending order.

    * You also can choice for manual sorting. When you have done that, you select for example "Baroda", then right-click and you find an option there "move" (translation perhaps not correct) and then you can choice, to the 1st position, to the last position, 1 position up, 1 position down.

I have problems modifying my post #2
If you select the X-axis of the graph in "Pivot_Copy", modify these 2 values untill you get a satisfying result.
Minimum 0.1 makes that your X-axis is like 0.1-1-10-100-1000
Axis-value 0.7 makes the startpoint for your graph.

Thank you so much for your help. much appreciated. I am so sorry that I don't have any stars to thank you. Still,I s in your graph (Pivot Copy), I want Baroda at the top and Ahmedabad at the bottom. How can we mirror the same information on the chart as in the Pivot? How did you convert the Pivot into a table?

Chart not showing the values equal to 1
First you make the pivottable oké, so if you want Baroda before Ahmedabad, then, as i descripted earlier, select a cell in column A, right click ... .

When that is done, you can copy the data from your pivottable to the table in "Pivot_copy" by clicking on the green commandbutton "copy pivottable to table".
You can cut the graph and paste in anywhere in your workbook.
