How can I fix the grouping in this example to add count by Quarter

Here is my issue. I have certain data set that shows positions open VS positions filled by quarter. When I create a pivot table, it shows me this result and I can't figure out whey it won't add up the total count by Quarter.

Example: I know the total filled positions in Oct are 114 (if I add up all the positions filled in Q4) but can't get that show up in a pivot graph.

    Hope someone can help.

    Regards

Done. The first tab has the data and the second tab has the pivot tables. If you scroll all the way to the bottom on the second tab, you will see a table where I am trying to group Quarters together. The total filled positions in Q4 were 114 and I see that on the pivot but weird how it is adding up quarters. Not sure if this has to do with blanks in the first tab.

    Appreciate any help.

removing the "Req Open Date field" from the row labels seems to have solved the problem
As for the way Quarters are added up, you can set the start date as you wish when grouping the dates
(I can't help with charts my XL version is allergic to them)
And BTW please update your profile with the correct XL version you have. Answers are tailored to these versions and recent versions have much more functionalities (you can find this under File ->Help I think)

Thanks but I need to see both the open req and filled rec data by quarter. For some reason, this pivot shows incorrectly when grouped by quarter.
