Placing a scatter plot or multiple markers on a bar chart

I have an employee roster where I have their salary and position and I have a Minimum and Maximum for that position. I would like a min max bar chart -- which I know how to do that shows the salary range. Then I would like to place markers on that bar to show the actual salaries of the employees are in that position. I cannot figure out how to get the markers to line up on the bar. Ideally I would like to show a whole department's positions on one chart.

Show us what you have done so far in the attachment (excel file with some sample data).
And a screenshot with manyally added (paint etc) or added as graphic symbols in a file the markers you would like to see as final result.
    Best Regards,

    Kaper

Solved! I figured it out from several combinations of sites. It is a Combo Chart of XY Scatter Plots and Column Charts.
My original information was using Letters to represent the Salary Grades. I had to convert those to a number. These numbers were the
X Axis of the Scatter Plot. The salary ranges, which I originally was trying to use the HIgh Low Stock Chart was a simple Stacked Column
chart with The minimum as one series and difference between the Minimum and Maximum as the Second series. I then just chose no fill and
No border on the Minimum Bar and Voila! it worked. See the Attachment for the final results.

    A side observation -
    * Min and Max are rather indicative than binding.
    * From group 8 up discrepancies are only "below min". And what is wrong with group 11 - roughly half of salaries are 30% of what would be expected.

As for sharing with others who may find this thread - a good idea would be to attach the excel workbook not (only) the screenshot. Of course with delicate data (real names!) replaced with dummy data. See for instance http://random-name-generator.info/ https://namey.muffinlabs.com/ etc.
