Bar Chart Plotting Issue

My problem is I have two sets of data, Error and Intervals, I want the Error to be plotted on the Y axis and have the Intervals plotted along the x axis. So that the Intervals correspond with the Error. For example if error is 30 at 10 intervals I would like it to display a bar chart going 30 up (on y axis) and have the 10 underneath the bar.

At the moment I can get the error plotted but I dont have the corresponding intervals on the x axis. any help would be great.

Not sure if my understanding is correct. Have you tried right click -> Select Data, then click 'Edit' under the "Horizontal (Category) Axis Labels" ?

To make a chart, you should have X values in one column (Error) and Y values (Intervals) in the next. Select the data and insert an XY chart. I'm not sure why you want a bar chart.
