Pivot Table - putting projects in different "YEAR" columns

Hello,

I need to take a pivot table course, which i will, but in the meantime, i have to create a report that sorts a bunch of projects by due date by putting them in different columns based on year.

Here's my (fictional) data:

PROJECT DUE DATE
Katroc January 13, 2022
Sevron March 12, 2022
Lofrin June 15, 2023

etc. etc. In actuality, there are about 120 projects with due dates spread out over 5 years.

Here is the output i want:


2022 2023
Katroc Jan 13, 2022 Lofrin June 15, 2023
Sevron March 12, 2022

Is there a logical way to do this?

Please upload the workbook or at least a representative example.

A Pivot Table will give you Projects grouped within Due Date or other options

Thank-you. For the life of me i can't figure out how to upload the file. I went to "manage attachments", uploaded the file correctly there, but then how to do i insert into this thread? I clicked Go Advanced, and then i see a paperclip attachment icon but when i click on that, it gives me a very thin drop down menu that is blank.
