Pivot Table-Multiple Rows (independent of one another) Under One Main Row

    Hello-

I have a set of data that I'm trying to make easier to read.

In doing so I'm trying to pull 1 field (as a row) and then have multiple other fields show as rows under that 1 row, but without rolling up into one another.

    See example, below.

Ideally, I want the Pivot Table to have 5 Main Rows (Example Sys 1, Example Sys 2, Example Sys 3, Example Sys 4, Example Sys 5). I then want 4 rows under each of those main rows (Is your system running slow, is it having issues, what is your associate's sentiment, additional feedback) BUT I don't want these 4 rows to fall under one another- I want them all to fall under the 'main' row equally. The goal is to be able to group the 4 sets of feedback under each 'Example System' for easy reading. I also want each of the 4 groups of feedback to have headers, the headers being the the 4 questions (slow, issues, sentiment, and feedback). That way- whoever is reading this table can easily see a breakdown of each system and the feedback it received.

But as you can see, when I put them all as 'Rows' then roll up into one another (instead of all being 'equal' under the Example Sys. They also don't have a header stating what the answer is to. I'm not super familiar with PivotTables and can't seem to figure this out for the life of me!

You can change the layout for the sub fields to tabular in the field settings (right-click) for each one.

Tabular makes each question appear as a separate column, rather than a row which is what I'm going for.

As you can see in the picture, it puts the first two (System & 'Is your system running slow') in the first column, and then puts the next 3 (issues, sentiment, other feedback) in columns B, C, D.

What I'm hoping for is to have all 5 put into rows. I want 'System' as the main headers and then the other 4 (slow, issues, sentiment, other feedback) under 'System' accordingly. That way all data reflects in rows under the applicable System. Does that make sense?

Here is a rough example of what I want:

Oh I see. That’s not really how pivot tables work, especially as you aren’t aggregating anything.
