Daily averages by week in PVT

I have an Excel log that tracks individual occurrences of a particular event during each day. One row per occurrence, date, time, certain other variables. There are between 0 (unusual) and 15 daily occurrences, generally about 3-5/day. I am interested in the weekly trends over time. I now have about 18 months of daily data.
In a PVT I can easily count a weekly total (Pivot Analyse/Group/Day/7 days) for each week. What I want is a daily average by week, rather than a total by week.

Perhaps an example log and PVT would be more useful. In the attached example PVT tab, you will see weekly total counts and an associated graph. What I want to show is the daily average, not the total, for each week. E.g. for week commencing 1 May 22, I want to display 2.7, not 19.

You'll probably have to do something with helper columns
