I've got a table of a swimmer's times.
While I'd love to have a dropdown that selects the event and populates the chart with THAT event--I am content for now just making 6 or so charts.
I don't seem to have an affinity for the chart wizard, and I'd like to avoid getting any plug-ins for excel if that's possible. I've always found with a little effort, excel has everything I need.
Issues to fix:
1. I can't get the x-axis to just show the dates of each meet. 5/7, 5/14, etc. It keeps wanting to put "fractions" in between. In a perfect world Id like the x-axis to show the name of the meet AND the date.
2. I'd like the data points to skip weeks where there was no event and not just interpolate the line
3. the y-axis: I'd like the graph to be meaningful, so not making an arbitrary time range (making the plots a compressed) should be avoided. How can I make the y-axis for a particular event be from 0 seconds to maybe 5 seconds above the highest time for that row?
