Using Cell reference and Slicer to update Dashboard

Hope you are doing well. I have came across a issue while preparing a excel dashboard. Here's what I am trying to achieve:

I have a 2 slicers which is linked to all the pivot tables. The name of the slicer is BU and Name. Then I've created a text box and given it as a cell reference to the pivot (E.g. ='Status Overall'!B6) so that whenever I select anything from the slicer then the value in the text box should be automatically updated depending on what is value is selected in the slicer. However this is not happening so check few fix online and found to use =GETPIVOTDATA function so I used I tried creating =GETPIVOTDATA("Count of Index",'Status Overall'!$A$3,"Status","Delayed") but still get an error which says "This formula is missing a range reference or a defined name".

Could you please suggest what may be the fix for this issue?

Sure but I will not be able to share the actual file as it includes confidential information. I'll create a sample data for the same and share file.
