Pivot Table - Cell coloring changes or distorts when changing the filter

Dear Excel Community,

I've an issue with several pivot tables. In the tables, I colored some cells. When I change a different item in the filter however, then the cell color vanishes. Sometimes however it stays the same. I don't see a pattern, how it works.

I used the regular "fill" option to color the cells. Is there a better way, so that Pivot can deal with the coloring? In best case, the color should just stay the same no matter which filter I apply.

Welcome to the forum

Please attach a sample workbook (not a picture or pasted copy). Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and then scroll down to Manage Attachments to open the upload window.
