Hi all,
I'm stumped! I have a picot table that has 6 columns, but I want it to sort the data by A to Z of the 5th column, but it never does, it's always column 1, then 2 etc. and it's quite frustrating.

Welcome to the forum
Please attach a sample workbook (not a picture or pasted copy). Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.
Remember to desensitize the data.
Click on GO ADVANCED and then scroll down to Manage Attachments to open the upload window.
Select all the data of the 5 th column.
After that
Data => filter => and choose the filter you want.
Notice my main language is not English.

You can add reputation by clicking on the star * add reputation.
That's how pivot tables work. If you could sort the whole table just on the 5th column, you could break the groupings of the row field prior to that, which a pivot table cannot do.
