Box and Whisker chart data source entry greys out the "Hidden and Empty Cells" dialogue. Is there a solution to this? All my data is in columns (named ranges) that are usually hidden. Thanks for any feedback.

Have you tried building your box and whisker plot as a stacked bar/column chart instead of using the built in chart? From what I have been able to gather, the new specialty charts like the built in box and whisker diagram are convenient if you want exactly what the template calls for, but inflexible if you want something a little different (I'm assuming that hidden and empty cells is one of the inflexibilities). Usually, building the chart from one of the basic chart types allows you to regain the flexibility that the specialty chart does not have.
