Re: how to do piled up bar chart

You said that you filtered the source data. Did you try filtering in the pivot table? Your sample file only included the raw data and did not include the pivot table/chart you had tried for this. I created a pivot table/chart showing dates (grouped by day) along the horizontal axis and the three counts on the vertical axis. Then, in the pivot table, selected the drop down on the row labels/dates -> date filters -> between 29 Aug and 6 Sep. I can't be certain because you did not include your pivot table/chart in your sample file, but it sounds to me like you just need to add the last filter step in the pivot table.

I assume these are referring to the histogram2.xlsx file
How do I get rid of Yellow Dates in the PIVOT table ?
I don't know exactly how your version's UI will show this. In my version, I selected the "Row Labels" drop down -> Date Filters -> Between -> selected dates of 29 August and 7 Sep.
How do I reorder of PILE UP ? I like complete to come first in the BAR.
I selected the cell with "complete" in it -> Grabbed the cell border (that was probably the hardest part) -> Drag "complete" to where I want it to appear in the pivot table (to the left of "cancelled"). The "stacks" in the stacked column will be in order from left (bottom) to right (top).

Re: how to do piled up bar chart

Do you have a dropdown arrow next to the "row labels" text in the pivot table? Assuming you do, what do you see when you click on that dropdown? Do you see various filtering options -- including a "date filter" option? See this help file (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/...7-ddfafe79fa8f ) under "Filter data manually". Or look through the other filtering methods and see which one works for you.
