I have an ever growing Pivot table of purchases and deductions that I have to reconcile every month. This sounds straight forward but it is not and I will not get into the details.

The data in prior cells never move or change, more data is just added in.
E.g. there may be a new name added to the rows and every month the new month purchase column and deduction column is added.
Is there any way around this, or another idea that would work?

In any case, the data ends up in a pivot table. I would prefer to highlight cells that have been matched off, however any time I add new data and refresh the pivot, the highlight is gone.
