Charting to Give Yearly Total instead of Monthly

I have uploaded a sample workbook below.

I have a set of data but when I try to chart it, I get the total balance for that specific month (Chart Number 1), I would like the chart to show the "total" amount over the year, like in Chart Number 2.

but how to chart it without having the 3rd column exist?

I don't know if you can chart something that doesn't exist.
