Sum not allowed due to Text Type (When not Text Type)

Hey all, about to pull my hair out here!

I have this happen all the time and I never can quite figure out what is going on. I have a simple pivot table, with numbers in the columns. I need to sum them but it it telling me they are text. There are no blanks, no other data, it is formatted as numbers. What am I missing? This happens now and then randomly.

You have "-" in row 443 of your data.
This is text and cannot be added in a pivot table.

OMG I looked for that but missed it. Thank you! I feel stupid lol.

This is exactly why I am redoing a lot of forms other people made/use. There are a lot of inconsistencies in how the data was entered (ie 0 or -)

How did you find that so fast, I could have sworn I did a find replace for dashes to zeroes, but maybe I thought I did, but did not.

Note that a pivot table that does not come from the data model would not have this issue, it just wouldn't show 9/5/2022 at all.

Man, Data model causes so many issues, I use it because I need distinct counts almost always and I don't know of a "good" way to get them without using Data model's built in distinct count.
