Slicers and bar charts

Hello.
I have a report that shows data by date. I created a month slicer and a year slicer. Is there a way to change the chart to only show yearly info and then when I choose a month only show month to month? When I choose years it shows the month as well on the bar chart. I guess I am trying to see if I can make the bar chart change from a month to month to a year over year by slicer selection.
