I have two worksheets, one from around a year ago (TemperatureDataFinal.xlsm) and one that I am making right now (thermal-clean.xlsx). They are both basically the same. I have an array of data with the following format: some columns of data, with a column of numbers that I want as my Y-axis, and a row of numbers I want as my X-axis. In my worksheet from a year ago I have a surface chart with the data values as the Z-axis and the X and Y-axes as intended. However, in my new worksheet I cannot manage to get the Y-axis to display as anything other than 'Series X' on the chart. How can I fix this without manually setting the Series names one-by-one, which I know I didn't do last time?
More context:
The column of numbers I want as Y-axis is timestamps. So my first chart's Y-axis displays as "0.00, 1.63, 3.49, 4.99, 6.52" from front to back. My new chart displays as "Series 1, Series 2, Series 3, Series 4, Series 5" from front to back.
I'm setting the chart data identically. In the 'Select Data' window, I set the chart data as ='worksheet'!$C$2:$Z$2. I set the horizontal axis as ='worksheet'!$D$1:$Z$1, which works perfectly on both.
I do have a couple of scripts on the older worksheet, the exact functionality of some I don't remember but I don't think it had anything to do with setting these axis labels.
