Overlapping bars in barchart on separate axis

Hi! I want to show a cumulative barchart using 2 separate bars consisting of multiple values stacking onto each other.
Everything seems to be in order, however excel is showing the bars overlapping each other, meaning it is hard to distinguish each.
I tried changing the overlapping percentage, but that just makes the stacking bar go diagonal. Can someone show me what I am missing?
I created the chart on macbook, but I also have a windows laptop available as I know it can be easier sometimes.
    Thank you!

The normal methods I would suggest won't work with a pivot chart, but perhaps you could just reduce the gap width of the series on the primary axis so that they are visible around the series on the secondary axis?

It does make it more visible, but if there is a possibility to show them side by side that would create a better overview in my opinion. If not possible, I will stick with the gap width adjustments! thank you

I don't think it is possible with a pivot chart - they're not as flexible.

Thank you for your quick help, much appreciated. However shame that pivot charts do not support this

I agree with rorya that pivot charts are not likely to support the techniques needed to do what you want. It is possible to create a regular chart using pivot data when you decide that you the limitations of a pivot chart outweigh the advantages. https://peltiertech.com/regular-char...-pivot-tables/

Thanks so much for the help. I dont think the dataset is suitable for a regular chart but I will look into this to see what is possible. Thanks again!
