value filter in pivot table

If you apply the value filter to the company field and not your first row field, it will filter based on those values. If you load the data into the data model and then build your pivot from that, you can set the option (under Pivot Table Options, Totals and Filters) to include filtered items in totals - it will also have an option to mark those totals with an asterisk so that you will know why the totals are not the sum of what you can see.
