Is there a way to create a calendar in any office suite program of say 150
events with start and end dates. Can the calendar control be used to display
certain events when a user such as my boss pivots the data to show only
certain events in specific states?

My second question is can pivot tables display actual text, as opposed to
only numbers and summary info in the data field? IE- im trying to make a
text pivot table for these events, by pivoting dates, companies, states...

Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated!
