How to extend a single point into a line in a chart?

In Excel when we need to draw a line chart sometimes a single point requires
to be extended throuthout the length of the chart? When the
tools-options-charts-plot empty cells option is used it requires an end
value, so that the intermediate space in interpolated. Is there anyway by
which only a single data is given but the graph or line should be
extrapolated throught the length of the graph

For most types of charts one can create a y-error bar, which would be a
vertical line. For XY Scatter charts one can also create a x-error bar
which would be a horizontal line.

Other than that, at least two points would be needed to draw a line.
