[SOLVED] why can't i edit my charts in excel

I am trying to edit a chart that i saved in excel, but i am unable to edit
it. I can't even highlight it, so it can't be deleted

1. Is the sheet protected? Unprotect the sheet.
2. Is the workbook shared? Unshare it.
