    Bar Chart Troubles

Hi. I'm going in circles trying to figure this out on my own.

I have data that contains the dates of a decriment transaction from an inventory. There is one line per transaction with multiple transactions per day (i.e. each transaction has its own line).
    9/27/2007 -1
    9/27/2007 -1
    9/27/2007 -1
    9/27/2007 -1
    9/27/2007 -1
    9/26/2007 -1
    9/26/2007 -1

    9/26/2007 -1
    9/26/2007 -1
    9/26/2007 -1
    9/25/2007 -1
    9/25/2007 -1
    9/24/2007 -1
    9/24/2007 -1
    9/24/2007 -1
    9/24/2007 -1
    9/24/2007 -1
    9/24/2007 -1
    9/24/2007 -1
    9/24/2007 -1

I want to make a bar chart that will add up the total number of transactions per day; 5 on the 27th, 7 on the 26th, etc. My data range goes back to January (YTD), so there is a lot of data.

Is there anyway to do this easily?

    Hi Kimble,

    Question:

Are the values in a separate column? Example:
    A...............B
    9/27/2007 -1
    Why not use Pivotchart?
