Pie Chart won't update like Bar Graph

I have a table of data, below.

Company Days Volume
A 4 10
B 5 20
C 6 30
D 7 40
E 8 50

This table will remain the same size (# of rows & columns) regardless. The data within the table, "Days" and "Volume" will change. I have a Bar Graph for the "Days" which changes just fine when the data is altered. However, I am using a Pie Chart for "Volume," and when the data is altered the pie chart does not update the value, the corresponding pie slice, or percentage based on the value. WHY???? Does it matter that these values are being referenced from a different sheet of data? Then referenced again for a chart?

Hi,

I tried creating Chart with your data, and this is working absolutely fine and the Chart should be updated after any change to its source data. It is immaterial that the source data is coming from Hard Code values or any formulas... There may be a very rare possibility that your sheet is very heavy with lots of formulas and excel needs good amount of time to update the values, which excel is not getting, or you are interrupting the calculation in between. It would be clear once you can attach your spreadsheet here so that we can have a look!
