    Problem with Excel Chart

    Hi

I need to know how can I adjust the X and Y Values in a chart? I have a chart and I need to start the chart from July-01 to Sept-01 on the Y axis. My problem is, No matter what I do, it always starts the chart from Jan-01. How can I change this value to July-01? My data specifies the correct dates and when I make my chart, it starts from Jan-01. This is a problem for me because I have to always scroll forward to July section to see my bars. Any help is much apreciated

You can change the source data so it only includes the months you want on the chart. Select the chart, right click, then click on Source Data then click on the button to the right of the Data Range field and select the months you want.

If you attach a sample of your workbook it will be easier to find a solution. Remember to remove/replace sensitive data before uploading the file. Look here if you need help with attachments:

Does changing the scale do what you want? Double click on one of the dates in the chart and change Minimum to 37073 and Maximum to 37256 to get a date range of 1-Jul-01 to 31-Dec-01.
