how do I chart date Vs dollars

    Hi,

I have two columns of data, column "A" contains dates and column "B" contains dollar amounts (sales income). There are about 80 entries in total.

I wondered if someone can please help me chart the date (on the X axis) Vs dollars (y axis). I require a bar graph and on the same chart, a line graph on top to show the trend of the bars.

I need the y axis to be labelled with the dollar amounts i.e $250, $500, $750, $1000, $1250 etc etc. If possible denominations of $200-$250 dollars.

The x axis needs to have just dates positioned vertically along the x axis so they fit.

Any help will be much appreciated.

    Thanks

    A
